Aromatic spicy · 100ml
Sauvage Elixir is a powerful aromatic spicy fragrance for men, opening on grapefruit, cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom, centred on a rich “tailor-made” lavender and coumarin heart, and settling on a base of amber, licorice, vetiver, patchouli and sandalwood. Created by François Demachy and launched in 2021, it is the most concentrated and distinctive expression of Sauvage — bold, spicy and luxurious, with a commanding trail that sets it apart from the rest of the line.
The opening is a spicy blast. Cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom arrive with warmth and intensity, cut by a flash of tart grapefruit — an immediately bold, aromatic introduction with real power from the first spray.
The heart is dominated by lavender. A rich, high-quality lavender essence with a vanilla-tinged coumarin gives the composition a distinctive, aromatic-fougère backbone, joined by an unexpected dark licorice note that adds a chewy, faintly anise sweetness.
The base is deep and refined. The signature Sauvage amber accord reveals its most velvety, sensual side, grounded by Haitian vetiver, patchouli and sandalwood. The dry-down is powerful, luxurious and long-lasting — a bold, spicy-woody signature quite unlike the fresher Sauvage versions.
Sauvage Elixir is structured across three layers, moving from spicy citrus through an aromatic lavender-licorice heart into a rich amber-woody base.

As an elixir concentration, performance is exceptional. Expect ten to fourteen hours on skin, with very strong projection in the opening hours — reviewers frequently describe it as a powerhouse — before settling into a rich, spicy-woody trail.
It performs exceptionally on clothing, often lasting into a second day. Because it is so potent, one to two sprays is genuinely enough — this fragrance rewards restraint.
This is a cooler-weather fragrance. Its warm, spicy, powerful profile suits Australian autumn and winter, and evening wear in particular.
It excels at nights out, dinners and colder occasions where a bold, commanding scent is the point. In warm weather the spice and amber amplify quickly, so a single spray is best in summer.
It suits men who want a bold, spicy, high-performing fragrance with a luxurious, distinctive character. It is a statement scent designed to command attention rather than a subtle everyday option.
It appeals both to Sauvage fans wanting the most intense version and to those who dislike the lighter Sauvages but appreciate this bolder, more characterful direction. If you prefer fresh, light or subtle fragrances, its power and spice may be more than you want.
One to two sprays on pulse points — the base of the neck and the wrists. As an elixir concentration it is extremely potent, so over-application is the most common mistake, especially indoors.
Avoid rubbing your wrists together after spraying, as it crushes the spicy-citrus opening. Store the bottle away from direct sunlight and heat.

It is a bold aromatic spicy fragrance. It opens with grapefruit and warm spices, develops a rich lavender and licorice heart, and dries down to amber, vetiver and sandalwood. The overall impression is spicy, powerful, luxurious and long-lasting.
Elixir is far more concentrated and distinctive. Where the EDT is fresh and citrus-peppery and the EDP adds warm vanilla, Elixir is a bold, spicy lavender-and-licorice powerhouse with amber and woods. Many find it so different that it barely resembles the other Sauvages.
Yes, very. As an elixir concentration it projects powerfully and lasts extremely well, often ten to fourteen hours on skin. One to two sprays is enough, and it is best suited to cooler weather and evenings where its power works in your favour.
Possibly. Many people who find the original Sauvage too clean or common enjoy Elixir because it is bolder, spicier and more distinctive. It shares the name and amber signature but has its own character, so it is worth trying even if the original was not for you.

This stuff’s unreal. Strong, spicy, and smooth — lasts forever. One spray and you’re sorted for the whole day.

Smells like power in a bottle. Deep, rich, and masculine. Easily the best Sauvage release yet.
